A Word from the Author…

As I embarked on the journey of creating this newsletter, I found myself in awe of the Renaissance masters. Their work carries a poetic, almost otherworldly beauty that feels impossible to achieve. How did they do it? What secrets lay in their brushstrokes? The more I studied, the more I realized that beyond their talent, they were relentless experimenters, always pushing the boundaries of their craft.

That’s why Leonardo da Vinci felt like the perfect artist to highlight this month. He embodied the spirit of curiosity and creative freedom. His notebooks overflow with unfinished ideas, sketches, and inventions, all testaments to his willingness to explore the unknown. Inspired by that mindset, I’ve started 2025 with a personal challenge: to embrace experimentation in my own art, stepping outside my comfort zone to see where it takes me. Going forward, each newsletter will include a little behind the scenes of what I am currently working on. I hope you enjoy it!
